Grow up? Who, me? Nah...

It sure is nice to have a son in the car business! Scott was able to grab this one from a sister store after I saw it online. It had had low miles and was perfect, inside and out.

When I received it, the equipment on it made me worry that it had been used in some sort of competition. The air filter in the picture was the tip off. It's a K&N performance piece, reported to give a 25 hp gain. In my opinion, that's pretty much so much bull shite. Being saturated with oil, it will eventually coat the mass air sensor with oil and screw up the computer. So eventually it will be kicked to the curb.

The black stripes look great and give the car that "Gone in 60 seconds" look.

When I got the car it had some "boy racer" wheels and tires on it. The rear tires were about 14 inches wide and made the car ride like it had concrete blocks for tires. I replaced them with custom wheels that kept the same look, but were the stock size. Now the car rides and handles like it's supposed to.

This thing is the most fun I've had behind the wheel in a long time, including a string of Corvettes.

I can't wait to see what I'm going to be when I grow up, but until then I'm going to have fun.

The sound of thunder! What at great ride, it is just perfect. Both the style and the sound fits the legacy of the pony.

I'm not sure if you're still even looking at this blog, but we've been trying to find you. Leah and Morten in Denmark keep sending you (Tom and Peggy) cards and now flowers to our address (5331 Saratoga Dr NW. Albuquerque, NM 87120). We've been trying to forward these to you over the last year, but to no avail. Could you let Leah and Morten know your correct address? Thanks and best wishes! Ken and Paula Johnson
